Hey Yi-Chen, do you want to tell me it is cold in Taiwan? Or how come you and Chen-Chi caught a cold?! Well, here in Germany it started to snow for the first time this winter and temperatures go 6 degrees below zero in the night. In the daytime we have 1 degree…not too cold.
Maybe you have to put on more clothes, eat more chilies and drink some ginger tea… Get well soon!

there was an arabian man with a mobile ‘cafe’. he was selling hot tea with either cardamom or sage. i got one for free, cause i didn’t have any money with me

there is this floating swimming pool in the river, the ‘badeschiff’. in the summer you can swim in an open pool (you would not want to jump in the river, though…too dirty…) and in the winter time there is a sauna ( http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/桑拿 ) in there. of course, there is also a bar - very chic. i haven’t been inside yet. but maybe i will check out the sauna soon.
